Lee Specialty Clinic is seeking a part time Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team.
We are currently looking for a part time licensed and experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work part time up to 2.
5 days per week. There is an option for telemed as well.
Responsibilities
Clinical
- Review intake documents.
- Review new-patient information prior to scheduling of initial appointment.
- Evaluate, diagnose, plan, and provide medical treatment to patients. Instruct patients, caregivers, and / or guardians in treatment being rendered and provide appropriate follow-up instructions.
- Review medical history, labs and any alerts for patient prior to treatment.
- Obtain consent from patient / caregiver / guardian for procedures.
- Discuss medical treatment options with patients, caregivers and or guardians.
- Discuss the effects of illnesses and diseases, and the side effects of medications.
- Document treatment rendered in the patient's chart and on encounter record after patient visit.
- Facilitate the patient’s transition within health care settings, admitting, transfer, discharge.
- Provide medical services to patients of record at off-site affiliate outpatient surgery centers and / or hospitals.
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning meetings.
- Refer patients to appropriate professionals when need arises.
- Assist with emergencies in the clinic.
- Adhere to the highest standards of medical ethics at all times.
- Model an attitude of mentoring and teamwork.
