We are seeking an experienced Architectural Senior Project Manager to oversee and coordinate architectural projects from conception to completion.
You will be responsible for ensuring projects are executed on time, within scope, and on budget, while representing our firm in all client communications.
Role Description
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating architectural projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they are executed on time, within scope, and budget.
- Represents SMA in all communications and efforts with the client from initial engagement, throughout entire course of proposal and project activities, and in post-project marketing activities on a regular basis.
- Responsible for the project strategic plan and its performance.
- Responsible of identifying scope creep and notifying client & company accordingly.
- Communicates on a weekly basis with Principal and Leadership to project status and performance.
- Holds and maintains quality a regular scheduled project team meeting and QC schedule.
- Manages the SMA project team assigned to the project.
- Accountable for the financial performance of the project assigned.
- Actively participates in the firm’s Business Development efforts to acquire new projects.
- Guides and mentor team members, providing support and opportunities for professional growth
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in architecture or equivalent.
- Registered Architect (Preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Minimum 12 years’ experience in architecture
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with AutoCAD or Revit
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships and interact effectively with staff, clients, contractors and vendors.
- Ability to supervise, direct and coordinate the work of staff.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and project components.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Ability to manage the financial performance of the project assigned.
