General Ultrasound Sonographer- Fairfax County, VA (New Grads are welcome)
Job Type- Full-time and Part-time (Onsite)
Shift : Monday to Friday (Days)
Job Summary :
The Ultrasound Technologist, under limited supervision, performs imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease and symptomatology while supporting the general operation of the office, performing ultrasound procedures including OB / Gyn, General, Breast, and / or Vascular as prescribed by a physician, instruct patients as to the proper physiological requirements for the procedure, ascertain whether there are contraindications to the patient.
prepare the patient for their exam(s), explain the procedure, position the patient, and assist the patient at the end of the procedure.
Qualifications / Requirements :
Completion of a training program in Imaging Technology from an accredited school.
Must be a Registered Ultrasound Technologist
Must carry current ARDMS Certification.
Prior experience is preferred, but not required.
New graduates are welcome to apply.
