Description
- Promote company values
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Provide prompt, friendly and courteous service to all customers
- Become familiar with all store products, their features and benefits
- Utilize up-selling techniques as directed by store manager
- Notify store manager of all sales, cash, or operating discrepancies
- Prepare shift-change report at the completion of shift in accordance with company guidelines
- Utilize cash register to record all sales
- Accurately record all markups and markdowns, store use of merchandise, voids, and bad-merchandise write-offs, within established guidelines
- Keep store premises, interior and exterior, maintained in a clean and attractive manner
- Keep coolers, store shelves, and display units fully stocked and faced at all times
- Properly clean and maintain equipment and ready high-margin products such as coffee, fountain drinks, etc., as directed by store manager
- Work as a team to complete cleaning / to do lists
- Remove snow from sidewalks and around pumps and propane filling area
- Remain in sight of store customers at all times
- Other duties as assigned
