We have partnered with our home healthcare client in their search for a Sr Financial Analytics Business Intelligence Engineer.
Responsibilities -
- Develop and execute detailed financial analytics strategies, including budget planning, FP&A analysis, and budget analytics, to drive data-informed decision-making processes.
- Collaborate closely with finance leaders to translate complex financial data into actionable insights, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and providing clear, concise communication that supports strategic planning and financial forecasting efforts.
- Utilize Tableau for data visualization to manage and analyze our Data Lake project.
- Conduct data analysis to identify issues and ensure data integrity, leveraging SQL proficiency without heavily relying on the data engineering team.
- Dedicate 20-30% of the time to innovation, identifying new ways to leverage data for insights and improvements.
Skills Required -
Financial data analytics capabilities, including budget planning, FP&A analysis, and budget analytics, to drive data-informed decision-making processes.
Excel, V-Lookups, & associated financial data analytics tools)
- Expertise in Tableau for advanced analytics and data visualization.
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and manipulation.
- Strong understanding of data structures and data modeling to support advanced analytics.
- PLUS : Databricks experience
Education & Work Experience -
- Bachelors Degree (Preferably in Data Science, Computer Science, IT or related field)
- 5-7+ yrs of professional experience
