As a Battery Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and scaling battery production processes.
Your expertise in areas such as welding, roll-to-roll equipment, and cell assembly will be crucial to driving innovation and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Optimize and scale battery cell manufacturing processes
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversee equipment qualification, validation, and maintenance
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance
- Drive process troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product performance
Ideal Candidates Will Possess :
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment of complex electrical or electro-chemical products
- Demonstrated expertise in battery cell manufacturing processes (cylindrical, prismatic, or pouch) preferred but not required
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and process optimization tools
- A results-oriented mindset and a passion for innovation
