JOB SUMMARY

Polar is looking to hire a Wire Harness Assembler to work at our manufacturing facility in Gardena, CA . The candidate must be accurate in the assembly of parts, work at a reasonable pace, function well as a team member, and enjoy work.

Responsibilities include : the ability to read electrical diagrams, follow written instructions, assemble connectors, crimp wires using hand tools and crimping machines.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assemble connectors.
• Cable and harness assembly to create neat and efficient cable routing for various products.
• Observes all safety rules and maintains a clean, organized work area.
• Crimping inspection proficiency
• Operate crimping machines, wire cutting and stripping machines.
• Assemble cable harnesses from point-to-point wiring diagrams and drawings.
• Ability to perform simple harness tests.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 2 years’ electronics assembly experience required
• Proficient in English.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work overtime and on weekends if needed
• Ability to lift 20 lbs., and be physically fit to perform work duties
