Your role and responsibilities

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed.

You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education / employment opportunities.

The work model for the role is onsite Fort Smith, Arkansas. Please note that no relocation assistance or stipend will be offered for this position.

Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the office location. Candidates are expected to manage their own commuting arrangements.

You will be mainly accountable for :

• Administer and support the ABB Organization assisting with the Supplier Onboarding process and communicating to key internal stakeholders as required
• Oversight and follow-through to completion with internal stakeholders on Vendor Master-Data updates by updating bank details, legal name changes, contacts, etc.
• Administration, support and oversight of SCM reporting metrics on a routine cadence (weekly, monthly, etc.)
• Support continuous improvement of master-data management activities (as-needed)
• Creation and improvement of internal process documentation

Qualifications for the role

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Supply Chain, Operations, Finance or Organizational Behavior and Leadership, within the United States.
• Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
• Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions
• Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality
• Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress
