We are searching for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Corporate Controller to join our finance team in the manufacturing industry.

This is a high-impact role in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will utilize your extensive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, accounting, strategic planning, process improvement, internal controls, corporate finance, manufacturing, finance, costing, tax filing, month end close, year end close, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in manufacturing finance and will play a critical role in the financial management of our company.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee plant financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

2. Drive cost reduction initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvement.

3. Manage capital expenditure (Capex) to ensure that all investments align with the company's strategic goals.

4. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports, providing insightful analysis of variances to budget, forecast, and prior year.

5. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the plant's General Ledger (GL).

6. Manage inventory, including tracking, valuation, and turnover to optimize working capital.

7. Work closely with manufacturing operations to understand and report on cost drivers, production variances, and opportunities for improvement.

8. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement financial best practices.

9. Ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements and accounting standards.

10. Provide financial guidance and support to plant management, assisting in strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or CPA is highly desirable.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing or construction industry.

3. Proven experience in Capex, Monthly Reporting, Cost Reduction, Process Improvement, Inventory Management, General Ledger, Forecasting, Budgeting, Costing, Variance Reporting, Finance, Accounting, and Manufacturing Accounting.

4. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

5. Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.

7. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to drive change and influence decision-making.

8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.

9. Experience with financial software systems is a plus.
