Overview
As a Traffic Coordinator you will assure that every product a customer receives meets the quality set forth by Slice of Stainless, and that every shipment conforms to all specified, agreed to requirements.
Prepares documentation to support daily shipments. Routes freight, inbound and outbound, with specified carriers. Assists with freight loading / unloading, receiving of inbound material, packing and labeling of As Is orders.
WORKING HOURS : Monday - Friday, 7am-4p
STARTING WAGE : $19+ Depending on Experience
FLSA STATUS : Non-Exempt
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Prepares packing slips, Bill of Lading (BOL) and export documents when necessary.
Conducts final inspection of all company paperwork related to shipping.
General housekeeping in accordance with the Traffic / Shipping expectations.
Coordinates required activities for export shipments.
Schedules inbound freight from the mills.
Processes all UPS / FedEx shipments via computer.
Prepares certifications in accordance with Sales order request.
Assists with receiving of the incoming freight.
General fork truck and crane operation, basic material handling.
Assists with loading and unloading of the trucks.
Package and prepare orders to be shipped.
