Job Summary :
The Breakfast Bistro Attendant at Courtyard by Marriott - Generation Park, TX is responsible for ensuring that the guests of the hotel enjoy a high-quality breakfast experience.
This individual will work in the hotel's bistro, overseeing the preparation and presentation of breakfast items, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bistro area, and providing excellent customer service to guests.
Employees are eligible for discounts on hotel stays and dining at Marriott properties.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and present breakfast items according to hotel standards and guest requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bistro and dining area
- Set up and restock food and beverage stations during breakfast hours
- Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take and process breakfast orders, handling cash and credit card transactions
- Monitor food and beverage inventory and notify management when items need to be restocked
- Learn hotel POS system to place orders and take payments.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and clean breakfast service
- Work collaboratively with other hotel employees to ensure a smooth and efficient breakfast service
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and courteous manner
- Follow all Marriott brand standards and policies
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar hospitality or restaurant role preferred
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Good understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
