Job Responsibilities :
- Implement financial planning, analysis, and budgeting policies and procedures to ensure application of internal control within the department.
- Provide financial analysis and planning assistance to the strategic and business development functions and develop all types of short and long-term financial projections / forecasts / plans in accordance with the department’s strategies and overall objectives and directions.
- Supervise the preparation of feasibility studies, financial due diligence, financial modeling & valuations, financial projections, and other types of financial analysis to support decisions related to acquisitions, divestitures, projects development, and joint ventures.
- Identify and manage financial risks (interest rate and exchange rate risks) that can affect operations.
- Supervise the development of financial models that serve to support the financial planning process.
- Coordinate and oversee the budgeting process and assist departments Directors in the preparation of their assumptions and budgets.
- Set the provisional timetable to be followed for the budget process (approved by the Board of Directors).
- Supervise the design and preparation of the budget forms, models and templates to be used by departments Directors in the budgeting process to enhance the budget techniques and procedures.
- Supervise the preparation of the consolidated annual master budget including capital expenditure, operating expenditure, and manpower planning budgets.
- Supervise the compilation, review and preparation of the budgeted financial statements (income statement and balance sheet).
- Monitor effective implementation of and compliance with the approved budget (tracking, variance analysis, reporting, etc.).
- Present the monthly performance management reports to the Director of Finance and report on any areas that require attention.
- Perform other duties related to the job as assigned by the Director of Finance.
Qualifications :
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Supervisory-level experience is required (2+ years).
- Experience within the Real Estate industry is preferred.
- Professional certificate CFA is preferred.
- Considerable knowledge of the principles and practices of financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
