Actalent is currently hiring Phlebotomists in Kansas City!

Job Description : As a Phlebotomist at Actalent, you will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients for various lab tests and procedures.

Your role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely results for patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform venipunctures and capillary punctures to obtain blood samples.
• Label and process specimens accurately.
• Maintain patient records and ensure proper documentation.
• Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures.
• Provide excellent patient care and address any concerns or questions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient workflow.

Skills & Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in Phlebotomy from an accredited program.
• Previous experience as a Phlebotomist preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information :

• First shift hours
• Pay rate from $18-$20 based on experience
