- Reports to the Assistant Captain of the Watch any violations of USCG regulations, Louisiana Gaming Commission regulations, or unsafe conditions as it pertains to riverboat gaming.
- Participates in training with the deck crew on emergency procedures, safety, seamanship, and other training.
- Ensures that safety equipment is provided, and appropriate guidelines are followed for all tasks involving physical risk or hazardous materials.
- Responsible for the cleaning of the vessel interior and exterior (focus on detail cleaning, trash removal, and detail cleaning of restrooms).
- Performs various tasks involved in the maintenance and upkeep of vessel and equipment; this includes cleaning.
- esponsible for line handling, adjustment of winches, use of hydraulic ramps, and other tasks related to mooring of the vessel.
- Executes tasks as assigned by the Assistant Captain of the Watch.

- Previous experience in marine, housekeeping, or janitorial industry preferred.
- Ability to perform duties required during emergencies; mentally and physically able to perform all firefighting duties;
CPR and Firefighting training required.
- Must possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Must have knowledge regarding proper use of basic hand tools.
- Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
- Must have the ability to remain calm in emergency or stressful situations.
