Your Role at Pura : We are looking for a Mid / Senior Site Reliability Engineer to help build out infrastructure to support various technology groups.

You will help us inspire a belief in the power of fragrance to craft and elevate memorable moments for our Owners. This is your chance to make an impact in a high-growth company that’s redefining the way people experience scent.

What You’ll Own : Design and implement highly available and scalable infrastructure to Web, Mobile, Backend, Data engineering teams, as well as other cross-functional groups.

Collaborate with engineering and security teams to define and implement reliability standards and best practices. Monitor system performance and identify and address potential issues to ensure uptime and optimal performance.

Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes to streamline operations. Lead incident management efforts, including overseeing incident response processes, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and conducting post-incident reviews to identify root causes and implement preventative measures.

Design and implement incident response playbooks and escalation procedures to ensure timely and effective resolution of incidents.

Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve system reliability through automated testing, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery planning.

Mentor junior team members and contribute to the continuous learning and development of the SRE team. Qualifications : 5+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role, preferably in the IoT space.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, Node or similar language with an emphasis on automation and scripting.

Deep understanding of cloud technology, preferably AWS and / or GCP. Experience with container orchestration and related tools, such as Kubernetes, and containerization technologies such as Docker.

Experience with observability tools such as DataDog. Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing IAM solutions.

Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using tools like Terraform. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
