Our client, a premier water solutions provider, is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Technician to join the team in Vista.
This role is 100% onsite and offers great compensation, stability, and room for growth.
Duties Include :
- Act as Team Lead or Sr. Manufacturing Tech
- Become proficient in all production tasks (i.e. electrical wiring, metal and pvc plumbing, fabrication, subassembly, assembly, and analysis), always maintaining quality standards
- Interpret all Production Reference Materials and identify discrepancies including any errors or needed materials
- Support Production Team in all Safety Trainings
- Identify and communicate any safety hazards in the workplace
- Keep personal workspace clean and organized
- Oversee and participate in shop housekeeping
- Participate in Inventory Assessments
- Adhere to all efficiency and quality standards and procedures
- Identify shop needs for tools and safety equipment
- Manage shop inventory of tools and personal protective equipment
- Record keeping of performance indicators and other documentation processes
- Utilize computer system to maintain shop documentation and reference materials needs
- Any and all other duties that are created for the Manufacturing Technician position during employment
Preferred skill sets are :
- Mechanical or Manufacturing engineering degree preferred
- Leadership experience or ability to quickly grow into a lead role
- 5 + years experience
- Previous experience working in production of water treatment systems (reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, softeners, other)
- Proficiency with common shop machines including mills and lathes
- Proficiency on Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Good organizational skills and 5S process knowledge
