The Enterprise Contact Center team at John Deere provides front-line technical support, information, and solutions to customers regarding product-related inquiries, issues, and concerns.

The goal is to optimize customer satisfaction and retention. Customer Support Representatives will provide support across multiple channels, including telephone, email, and chat, while effectively documenting each interaction.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Respond to inquiries about product availability, compatibility, and general product questions
  • Address product issues and complaints across Ag, Residential, Commercial Turf, and Golf products
  • Assist with warranty registration, extended warranty coverage, and out-of-warranty support
  • Conduct parts and publication lookups
  • Provide information on Loyalty Rewards programs

Work Schedule :

The Contact Center is open 7 AM - 6 PM CST, Monday through Friday

Candidate must be available to work any 8-hour shift within the support window

Shifts may change based on call and email volume

Training Details :

Training and mentoring will be on the 8 AM - 4 : 30 PM shift and last approximately 6 weeks

Full productivity is typically reached in 3-4 months

Initial training includes 2 weeks of classroom learning followed by 2-4 weeks of on-the-job training and mentoring from an experienced customer support technician

This role may involve responsibilities in either Tier 1 or Tier 2 support

Required Skills & Experience :

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • At least 6 months of customer service or technical support experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong computer, research, and troubleshooting abilities
  • Flexibility to work support hours and occasional holidays as required by the business

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Knowledge of agriculture, turf (mowers), and utility vehicles
  • Experience working in Agriculture or Technology dealer channels
  • An Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, Communications, Engineering, IT, or a related field
