You will be working on modern React-powered visualization applications, incorporating modern front-end development techniques to advance the cutting edge of biology.

Our applications such as Xenium Explorer (https : / / www.10xgenomics.com / platforms / xenium#software) help world-class researchers visualize genetic markers across millions of cells with ease.

What you will be doing

• Design, build, test, and ship production-ready software.
• Create flexible, attractive UI components.
• Enhance and test modules in React- and Electron-driven visualization tools.
• Collaborate with designers to iterate and implement visual design systems.

Minimum requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline and 2 years of software development experience;

OR 4 years of professional experience building software.

• Experience developing web applications in React and Redux.
• Proficient in utilizing modern CSS features and JavaScript (ES5 / 6) syntax for web development.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with shipping software
• Familiarity with TypeScript
• Experience with Golang and backend development
• Experience with web visualization tools (D3, Plotly, three.js, DeckGL)
• Experience with WebGL
• Interest in biology and / or DNA sequencing.
