Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Poll Workers represent the Clerk's Office at a Vote Center during In-Person Voting. They assist with on-site logistics, and aid individuals as they register to vote and navigate voting equipment.
Poll Workers work the entirety of Election Day (5 : 30 am to 10 pm), two hours of site set-up on the day before Election Day, and an in-person, two-hour training session during the week before Election Day.
TEMPORARY POSITIONS
An At Will , FLSA non-exempt employee who is not eligible for County Benefits.
- Are not eligible for County benefits except as otherwise provided for by policy
- Are not considered merit employees
- Are at Will employees who may be terminated for any reason, without notice, and without a pre-termination hearing.
