NIGHT SHIFT POOL MAINTENANCE
CLOSING DATE : Open until Filled
PAY RATE : $13.86 - $19.40 (depending on experience)
SCHEDULE : Monday - Thursday and Saturday : 9 : 00 pm - 1 : 00 am (Friday and Sunday nights off)
DEPARTMENT : Recreation
JOB SUMMARY
Perform various maintenance and custodial jobs at the Legacy Center swimming facility :
- Some work with hazardous materials and small equipment.
- Must possess good swimming skills and overall good physical conditioning.
- On-the-job training is available.
- Work up to 4 hours a day Mon-Thursday and every Saturday.
- Responsible for keeping equipment at aquatics facility in good running condition.
- Repair or replace worn-out or broken equipment.
- Keep the aquatic facilities clean.
- Work under the direct supervision of the head maintenance person and aquatic managers.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 18 years old.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of mechanical functioning of an aquatic facility preferred or other mechanical experience with the willingness to learn.
- Physically fit.
- Proficient swimmer.
- Good written and verbal skills.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with employees, volunteers, and the public.
- Pass drug and background check.
