Position Summary : Responsible for the planning and implementation of all installation, repair, upkeep, and housekeeping operations of the distribution center.
Job Responsibilities :
- Develop maintenance and housekeeping procedures and ensure timely and correct implementation
- Check electrical, plumbing, AC, Heating, and other facility’s systems to ensure proper functionality
- Plan and oversee equipment repair and facility systems’ installation activities
- Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
- Allocate manpower to ensure effective and efficient execution of the plan
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
- Monitor equipment and supplies inventory and place orders timely
- Manage expenses and control Department’s budget
- Ensure maintenance logs and reports are timely and properly maintained
- Ensure health and safety policies are followed
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- HS diploma, or GED. AA or BS / BA in business administration or facility management preferred
- 5 years of experience as Facilities and Equipment Maintenance Manager
- 5 years of experience in developing and implementing maintenance plans / projects
- Advanced technical understanding of plumbing, electrical, AC, and other systems
- Advanced communication, interpersonal, organization, prioritization, and analytical skills
- Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) preferred
