Welcome to Balance! We're a fast-casual brand homegrown in Toledo serving vegetable-forward fresh Bowls, Snacks, Tacos, and hand-shaken BubbleTea! We have 3 locations in the Toledo area : Sylvania, Perrysburg, and Downtown Toledo.

Samurai are responsible for accurately preparing food orders, assembling Build-a-Bowls, Tacos, and Snacks in a timely and precise fashion, mastering skills on the grill and wok, adhering to health codes, and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and food line.

Samurai Job Duties
- Set up 3 Compartment Sink & Wash Dishes
- Make sanitizer buckets to appropriate concentration
- Rotate and restock coolers
- Wash and cook rice according to our recipes, transfer as needed
- Grill chicken according to our recipes, cut to our standards
- Cook additional menu items like noodles, fried rice, boba, steak, fried rice, and snacks according to our recipes.
- Portion out starch and protein for a bowl to correct weight
- Build veggie combos for each bowl to correct weight, memorizing the menu
- Correctly construct tacos to proper portion size
- Clean and Detail the Kitchen space : walls, floors, ceiling, and equipment.
- Restock Paper Products
- Take out trash
- Complete Logsas needed
Skills and Qualifications
- No experience required (we’re willing to train)
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Excellent critical thinking and time management skills
- Ability to operate industrial machinery and carry loads up to 40 lbs
- Willingness to work in hot, humid environment and on your feet for 8-hour shifts
