LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our client’s team in downtown Cleveland.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to : accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.

Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.

Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.

Manage and coordinate audits and tax preparations.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Collaborate with other departments to support overall company goals and objectives.

Mentor and train junior accounting staff.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.

3+ years accounting experience with real estate, property management or public accounting experience.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
