POSITION SUMMARY :
The Barback Team Member will assist with all aspects of event, bar and / or food & beverage operations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING :
- Assists guests with questions about the event / facility
- Coordinates and executes tasks based on the Event Operations Worksheet (EOW) for each event
- Assists with all aspects of event setup and tear-down
- Serves as the bar back for single / multiple bar stations during events
- Helps provide timely client and guest feedback to the Event Coordinator
- Oversees and assists in post-event cleaning as needed
- Complete any other special projects and daily assignments as directed by the Banquet & Bar Supervisor
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- 2-3 years of appropriate experience required
- Must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving and negotiating skills
- Must be a team player
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays
- Must be age 19 or older
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds
- May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors
- Facility has intermittent noise
