About the Physical Therapist Assistant Position
We are looking for a committed Physical Therapist Assistant to act as the patient's partner throughout the journey of restoring motion.
You'll ensure that the client will function at their personal best. You will maximize their quality of life and movement potential within the fields of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment or intervention, and rehabilitation.
Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities
- Learn to identify and meet patients' goals and needs
- Assist in developing care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
- Assist in creating a fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients' specific needs
- Motivate patients during treatment to help them function optimally
- Promote clients' healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
- Shadow and practice with other health professionals
- Assist in evaluating effects and monitor and communicate progress
- Document patient care services
Physical Therapist Assistant Requirements
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
- Drive to learn and grow on a constant basis
- Professional behavior
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Business Hours :
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday - Odessa, Tx. 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm
Tuesday, Thursday - Midland, Tx. 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm
Intern may choose to work full-time at both locations or part-time working at one location.)
Attire :
Red, Grey, or Blacks Scrubs.
Comfortable, clean tennis shoes.
If an intern does not have these colors, they may also wear blue until they have acquired on of the requested scrub colors.)
