Role Overview

We're looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our remote team, based out of NYC. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure that powers our platforms and services.

You'll work closely with developers, DevOps, and security teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage secure cloud infrastructure across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline cloud-based application deployment.
• Automate infrastructure tasks using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Implement cloud security best practices, ensuring systems are secure and compliant.
• Monitor cloud environments and optimize performance for availability and cost-efficiency.
• Build and maintain CI / CD pipelines to accelerate software development cycles.
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend solutions to improve performance and scalability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or relevant field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or a similar role.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), with a focus on infrastructure as code.
• Familiarity with cloud automation and orchestration tools (Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Knowledge of network configuration, security, and cloud monitoring tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with CI / CD tools and methodologies (Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously in a remote team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Expert).
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
• Understanding of serverless computing and cloud-native architectures.
• Previous experience working in Agile or DevOps teams.
