Overview
The Leads / Enrollment Processor is responsible for accurate and efficient processing and entry of all data and forms related to inquiry and student enrollment packets received in the Central Enrollment office at Universal Technical Institute.
This role is focused on producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines and procedures.
The day-to-day work includes, but is not limited to, document review, data entry, intercompany communication and data entry verification.
The ideal candidate will have a high level of patience and a willingness to handle and complete one task at a time to create precise and consistent work products.
Responsibilities
Receive, review, and analyze incoming enrollment documents and determine student admissibility
- Determine student pathway of enrollment and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures
- Use resources to identify resolution on ad hoc and individual student basis
- Partner with student to obtain (or complete) missing or incomplete documents
- Process enrollments and data enter enrollment agreements into the student information system
- Strictly adhere to FERPA
- Maintain accurate and concise records
- Meet applicable due dates and deadlines
- Scan and link all documents received and processed by the department
- Perform accounts receivable functions
- Process credit card transactions
- Reconcile transactions against enrollment records
- Process insufficient fund notifications, disenroll the student, and notify stakeholders
- Perform extensive customer service and student engagement
- Receive information and follow-up with stakeholders
- Make and receive phone calls, emails, and notifications
- Actively participate in potentially sensitive and / or difficult conversations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education / Experience
- High school diploma (or GED) and two (2) years' experience working in a highly regulated industry (finance, education, healthcare, etc.) (required) - or -
- Associates degree in business, accounting, or other relevant field and one (1) years' experience working in a highly regulated industry (finance, education, healthcare, etc.) (Preferred)
- Specific experience working with students and their families is highly desired
Knowledge
- Strong working knowledge of :
- Federal and state admission / enrollment regulations and the application of corporate policies and procedures
- Principles and procedures for call escalation, problem resolution, and exception processing
- Auditing processes and procedures
- Record keeping, versioning, document retention and other administrative processes and procedures

Work Environment
- Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment when on-site a UTI location
- Hybrid (remote and onsite) worksites are available; Employees must meet minimum technical standards for eligibility and participation
