Scrum Coordinator

This position is part of our Advanced Safety & User Experience segment.

Summary :

The Scrum Coordinator performs a wide variety of cross scrum team-related duties including developing program strategies for Software Development, project status monitoring and KPI (Key Performance Indicator) reporting.

The Scrum coordinator works closely with all project stakeholders to schedule and organize program-related events. If selected, you will be working with talented global teams consisting of software, system, and test engineers.

Aptiv develops cutting edge advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) products which enhance vehicle safety.

Responsibilities :

• Establish and communicate sprint and program iteration cadence calendar for the program
• Facilitate program ceremonies (e.g., Big Room Planning, scrum of scrums, etc.)
• Communicate and maintain program level metrics
• Ensure proper cooperation with SQA (SW Quality Assurance), Automotive SPICE (Software Performance Improvement and Capability dEtermination), and Quality Audits
• Track the execution of features
• Coordinating with cross regional teams as needed to achieve project objectives
• Plan and coordinate program iteration activities with other global sites
• Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in lean-agile practices and mindsets
• Manage risks and dependencies
• Resolve, escalate and track impediments

Must Haves (Basic Qualifications) :

• Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline (computer science, software, or related field of study)
• 5+ years professional experience in Consumer Electronics or Automotive Industry
• Interpersonal skills, strong analytical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a positive approach to challenge
• Cross functional interests, ambitious and self-driven. Adaptive, comfortable with ambiguity
• Ability to effectively manage several projects at once
