Job Description
Summary
The Asphalt / Pave Box Operator will have at least 3-5 years experience. The Asphalt / Pave Box Operator will perform duties at parking lots by operating one or several types of equipment.
The Asphalt / Pave Box Operator will communicate daily the project status with key stakeholders in the project. In addition, the Asphalt / Pave Box Operator will ensure that all materials are installed per specifications for the project and all work is completed with Rose Paving standards.
Responsibilities
- Proficient Pave Box Operator
- Must be adept on Auger speeds, feed controls, flow gates, etc.
- Skilled in automatic grade and slope controls, crown position, vibratory controls, extensions and cut off shoes
- Setting passes
- Determining yields
- Trucking schedules
- Pace setting efficiencies
- Proper drainage and aesthetics evaluations
- Monitor the mat and yield daily
- Must be versatile and able to control team operation
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); a minimum of 3-5 years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have broad understanding of Rose Paving's business and proven abilities in the areas of preparation and installation of Asphalt.
