Duties :

• Responsible for adhering to all Company and Project safety programs, policies, and procedures as well as all Federal, State, and local safety codes and regulations.
• Focus on finer details of woodworking with excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
• Advanced techniques with woodworking machinery like Bandsaw, drill press, and bench grinder.
• Ability to read and manufacture blueprints or shop drawings with minimal supervision to apply working knowledge of the methods, equipment, materials, and tools to fabricate and install highly complex, craftsman quality exhibits.
• Planning layout and altering designs as needed.
• Cutting and shaping components by determining appropriate methods for cutting, shaping, and assembling parts
• Assembles and fastens materials to make frameworks or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue.
• Assure quality workmanship with cut, fit, and install of material according to specific measurements making sure corners are crisp, joints are tight, and moldings are level.
• Experience in the safe operation and maintenance of fork and scissor lifts
• Ensures the accuracy of work by checking completed projects with tools such as levels, surveying equipment, or framing squares;

corrects problems as needed.

Qualifications / Experience / Skills and Attributes :

• 4-6 years’ working experience with carpentry rough, finish, trim and understanding of various building materials and finishes.
• Experience in exhibit fabrication with attention to finish detail and keen eye for aesthetics

• Good mechanical and technical skills
• Ability to interpret and work from sketches, blueprints, or detailed drawings.
• Able to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with all customers, team members and management
• Must have good planning and time-management skills
