Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to support the company's operational needs.
- Manage supplier relationships, including selection, evaluation, and performance monitoring.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best value for the company.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aviation industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance and address any identified issues.
- Identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes and enhance efficiency.
- Implement best practices in procurement and compliance management.
- Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures.
- Monitor and manage procurement budgets, ensuring cost-effective purchasing decisions.
- Provide regular reports on procurement activities, savings, and budget performance.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with procurement and supplier management.
- Develop contingency plans to address potential supply chain disruptions.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to support the company's overall strategic objectives.
Qualifications
- Four-year degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Experience in the aviation field is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in procurement and compliance management, preferably in the aviation industry.
- Proven track record of successful supplier negotiations and contract management.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
