Enterprise Architect

Position Summary :

LinQuest is seeking an Enterprise Architect I supporting US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) NC Enterprise Center (NEC) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) at Ft.

Meade, MD. An active TS clearance with SCI eligibility is required for this position.

Our customer serves as principal enterprise systems engineering, enterprise architecture, and technical authority for the Nuclear C Enterprise within DoD and oversees systems engineering and integration for the entire National Leadership Command Capability (NLCC) infrastructure.

The NEC SE&I Division activities span the complex systems, programs and capabilities that compose the NC enterprise.

Key Responsibilities :

• Providing NC Enterprise Architecture expertise to support data-driven enterprise decisions.
• Supporting senior leaders and provide architectural recommendations to meet strategic objectives for future IT system integration.
• Collaborating with NC architecture teams to provide input to capture user requirements and use cases for improvement of the NC Digital Mission Engineering Environment (NDMEE).
• Producing and publishing baseline and incremental NC system of systems architectures to support and update information hosted in enterprise digital engineering tools.
• Developing detailed architecture artifacts for subsets of the NC Enterprise, as needed - All View (AV), Operational View (OV), and System View (SV) artifacts.
• Ingesting, re-formatting, and publishing the NC As-Is architecture using validated and verified authoritative data to support and update information hosted in the NC Enterprise Library (NEL) or other digital engineering tools.

Required Skills and Experience :

• years' relevant experience working with NC related capabilities, procedures, and platforms, including developing architecture artifacts per industry standards.
• High School Diploma
• Experience with DOD communications architecture and systems
• Experience developing architecture artifacts
• Ability to work well within a team and to execute tasks independently
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong command of MS Office suite tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work in a secure, confined location.
• Active TS with SCI eligibility

Preferred Skills and Experience :

• Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields : Engineering, Computer Science, or similar technical field with + years’ relevant experience working with NC related capabilities, procedures, and platforms, including developing architecture artifacts per industry standards
• Working-level proficiency with Models Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Digital Modeling tools such as Cameo, Magic Draw, and SparxEA
• Experience establishing system information requirements and designing architecture to support present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces
