WHAT YOU WILL DO
In this role you will leverage your industry expertise and leadership abilities to :
- Strategic Vision : Identify and implement change initiatives and collaborate with executives and cross-functional teams to drive them.
- Team Leadership & Development : Cultivate a high-performance culture in a team of scientists and formulators through effective performance management, success mapping, and ongoing feedback.
- Technical Excellence : Enhance the technical capabilities of the team, ensuring high-quality formulations and minimizing quality / production issues.
- Organizational Optimization : Streamline and integrate formulation and product development team processes, communications, and collaboration.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Industry Expertise : 10+ years of formulation and product development experience in the dietary supplements industry, including successful team and project management.
- Industry Standards : A commitment to championing industry best practices (incl. cGMP), and company metrics for the team and the role.
- Technical Proficiency : Proven ability in tablets, capsules, and powders operations, organoleptic product design and screening, formulation adjustments, etc.
- Cost Management : Skills in quoting and cost development for formulas and finished products.
- Customer Focus : Leverage industry expertise to solidify company’s reputation with customers as industry leaders.
