Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and execute game production efforts for women's basketball and women's volleyball, including game scripts, music / band promotions, videoboard content, cheer / mascot participation, and on-court presentations.
- Enhance enthusiasm for the department and raise awareness of all sports programs at Marquette University.
- Supervise student employees in the marketing department.
- Collaborate with the Associate AD of Marketing and Sales to develop ads for external and internal publications on campus and in the community.
- Assist with creating design elements, including print collateral, social media graphics, and other pieces for the department.
- Staff special promotions and events on- and off-campus to support community outreach initiatives.
- Coordinate on-campus activation methods to promote upcoming games and increase exposure of Marquette Athletics.
- Implement effective marketing of promotions and events via all channels and media (GoMarquette.com, social media, print, electronic media, Marquette Gameday app, etc.).
- Manage athletics e-blasts on a day-to-day basis (newsletters, ticket promotions, week-of emails, game day text alerts, etc.).
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Marketing).Work experience in college marketing; strong background and knowledge of relevant markets.2-3 years minimum work experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.Familiarity with Ticketmaster and Archtics.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities related to analysis and promotional strategies.Employment Details
