SERVPRO of Alexandria is Hiring a Water Production Technician!

Are you looking for a fulfilling career in the restoration industry? SERVPRO of Alexandria is seeking a dedicated and skilled Water Production Technician to join our team.

As a Water Production Technician, you will play a vital role in our water damage restoration projects, ensuring high-quality, consistent, and efficient work to help our clients restore their properties.

Key Responsibilities :

Inventory and Vehicle Management :

• Inventory and load the work vehicle with necessary equipment, products, and supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and ensure clean equipment appearance.

Work Site Preparation and Production :

• Prepare rooms / areas for work activities, including setting up staging areas and equipment.
• Perform water damage restoration processes as directed, adhering to safety and risk management guidelines.
• Communicate with the crew chief and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes.
• Perform end-of-day and end-of-job cleanup, ensuring the job site is left clean and orderly.

Warehouse and Equipment Management :

• Maintain an organized warehouse space, including cleaning and maintaining the warehouse, office, and grounds.
• Develop expertise in water damage restoration services, cleaning products, and equipment.
• Perform other tasks and duties as required by the employer.

Position Requirements :

• High school diploma / GED.
• IICRC certifications in water damage restoration preferred, but not required.
• Valid drivers license required.
• Strong work ethic and oral communication skills.
• Experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction preferred.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law.

Skills / Physical Demands / Competencies :

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).
• Ability to repetitively push / pull / lift / carry objects and work with / around cleaning agents.
