About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in co-creating Ariat’s operations strategy and tactical execution plans.

This involves defining, developing, and optimizing our Sales and Sales Operations processes and solutions, establishing robust standards, and ensuring seamless execution across our company.

The person in this position will have key relationships with several teams, including Sales, Sales Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT.

You’ll Make a Difference By

Operational Standards :

Collaborating with business partners to create and co-design company-wide operational standards. This involves defining, reviewing, and creating best-in-industry processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), as well as documentation for our Sales teams, Sales Operations, and the entire company.

Key activities include :

  • Analyzing and developing new end-to-end processes, services, and standards, as well as adjusting existing ones to deliver results with a direct impact on Sales, Sales Operations, and other teams.
  • Identifying improvement opportunities, addressing potential issues, and assessing the feasibility of process changes from a business and IT lens with stakeholders through analysis, meetings and effective use of data.

This includes creating transparency on priorities, developing solutions, processes, and deliverables, and facilitating recommendations for fact-based decisions leading to continuous improvements.

  • Supporting standardized solutions, reporting, KPI tracking, and ad hoc analysis in alignment with Ariat’s Sales Operations strategy.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Operations Excellence & Roadmap

Supporting the Senior Director of Sales Operations Strategy & Execution in defining Ariat Sales Operation projects and excellence roadmaps in alignment with our overall strategy. This includes :

  • Partnering with Sales, Sales Operations, IT teams, and other stakeholders on key initiatives and projects, acting as the continuous improvement lead to develop and help drive annual roadmaps.
  • Being accountable for understanding stakeholder needs, gathering data, performing analyses, resolving issues, and providing recommendations.
  • Completing all tasks within the constraints of time, budget, and quality, while prioritizing customer expectations, implementing outcomes, and ensuring the sustainability of our solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Optimization & Innovation

Identifying, developing, planning, and supporting the implementation of new software, tools, and similar optimization initiatives, including incubation, proof of concepts, vendor selection, and roll-out.

Managing the roadmap for new systems, technology, and methodologies, including process changes, upskilling, training, and execution (e.

g., SAP S4, B2B, Cognos, and other new solutions) for our Sales & Sales Operations area.

  • Contributing to the selection of tools, techniques, and systems based on architectural requirements and demands.
  • Assisting in the digital transformation of Sales, including Sales Force Automation (SFA), Process Mining, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and other innovative software tools.
  • Other duties as assigned.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree with focus on IT, Business or Supply Chain Management
  • 5 years plus of process or process adjacent work experience
  • 8 years plus of SAP experience (S4)
  • Footwear and Apparel industry experience
  • Good knowledge of Sales and Fulfillment processes
  • Strong analytical capability
  • Strong MS-Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong SAP product knowledge (SAP AFS, SAP S4, etc.)
  • Other IT systems & technology knowledge (Order Management tools, EDI, WMS, TMS, AI, Process Mining)
  • Knowledge of operational performance management, Lean, Continuous Improvement principles
  • Ability to lead and influence without formal reporting line
  • Pro-active (engaging & impact-oriented) mindset, ability to think end-to-end with a global mindset
  • Ability to think strategically, synthesize complex data and develop innovative solutions
  • Ability to independently work and deliver
  • Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills to all levels of the organization
  • Ability to travel

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $115,000 per year.

The salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic locations.

This range may be modified in the future.
