We are looking for a dynamic sales leader with a passion for driving growth and innovation in the retail analytics technology industry.
As a VP of Sales, you will lead a team that will play a key role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with key clients, and driving revenue growth.
You will be responsible for understanding client needs, presenting tailored solutions, and closing deals to drive success in our business.
Requirements
Your Day to Day Responsibilities :
- Lead the team to proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted prospecting and lead generation activities.
- Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospects and clients.
- Provide regular reporting and analysis on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends.
- Manage project timelines, expectations and deliverables, maintain high satisfaction levels and overall adoption. Manage customer relationships and engagement.
- Build and maintain strong internal networks across the business.
- Remain up to date on our product features and developed use cases to drive customers to best practice adoption.
- Coach 10 to 15 account executives to deliver monthly sales targets, report on pipeline and track opportunities in our CRM.
- Drive and report on weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews of the business based on results vs. target quotas by salesperson.
- Set customer up for success so they are self-sustained post-implementation.
- Collecting customer feedback and stories and closing feedback loops.
- When applicable, travel to client onsite meetings and / or networking events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of 10+ years related experience leading sales organizations in the SaaS technology space interacting directly with customers and resolving customer concerns or challenges.
- Must be a strong, collaborative team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience selling technology products to enterprise customers, using metrics and reporting (CRM) to manage a sales function.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be able to adjust your communication style to assist customers on various levels of technical understanding and internally with different levels of leadership.
- Patience, positive attitude and strong relationship-building skills.
- Strong organization, time management and project management skills.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple and competing priorities.
- Experience, fluency and the ability to quickly learn software solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel.
- Strong knowledge of Consumer-Packaged Goods organizations.
