The Wobbly Olive in Colorado Springs, CO is looking for one line cook / chef to join our small culinary team. We are located on 3317 Cinema Point and are entering our 8th year in business and are excited to bring fresh minds and ideas to our concept.
Responsibilities include, but aren't limited to :
- Work weeks are 5 days per week. Day off schedule is flexible except for weekends.
- Must uphold food quality and consistency
- Follow recipes and preparation
- MUST be punctual
- Keep ticket times within standard parameters
- Learn and demonstrate proficiency in all stations of the kitchen
- Demonstrate skill at plating, visual presentation and composition
- Work cleanly and efficient with proper knife skills
- Execute specials
- Industry trend awareness
- Understand food safety and kitchen equipment safety
- Continuously display a positive and supportive outlook toward the job and your peers
- Operate professionally at all times
- Properly checking in and putting away weekly orders
- Maintain a clean appearance and wear proper uniform to work. Chef coat, slip resistant shoes etc.
Qualifications
- You must provide recent / relevant references and a resume
- Must have at least 2 years of line cook experience in a scratch kitchen, not fast food experience.
- Must have reliable transportation
- Culinary School not required, but welcomed.
