Freight Broker

About Us : Join a leading trucking transportation company dedicated to providing exceptional logistics and transportation solutions.

With expanding offices and a dynamic team, we are looking for a motivated hunter salesperson to help us find and grow new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities for Freight Broker :

• Customer Acquisition : Identify and secure new customers, and help grow existing accounts.
• Collaboration : Work closely with the office's account representative and manager to ensure seamless operations and client satisfaction.
• Sales Performance : Meet and exceed sales targets, with satisfactory CRM activity and proper onboarding of all customers.
• Client Engagement : Secure 3 new customers, divisions, or shipping locations per quarter. Conduct quarterly reviews and assist with payment issues if necessary.
• Travel : Visit existing or potential customers (15-25 days a year).
• Meetings : Participate in weekly meetings with managers to review performance and strategy.

Qualifications for Freight Broker :

• Proven sales experience, preferably in the trucking or transportation industry.
• Strong hunter mentality with a focus on finding and closing new business.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
• High scores on the Sales Drive Assessment.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.

Compensation for Freight Broker :

• Starting salary : $50k- $70k
• Incentives : Up to 30% of salary paid quarterly, based on office / team performance in Revenue, Gross Profit, and Load Count.
