Data Scientist Intern - Marketing Analytics

McCormick & Company, Incorporated is seeking a full-time Data Scientist Intern - Marketing Analytics at the Global Corporate Headquarters located in Hunt Valley, Maryland .

This is a 10-week internship (June 2- August 8, 2025) which requires 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

We are seeking a motivated and talented Data Science Intern to join our Global Insights and Data Science team within Global Marketing.

This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, visualization, and advanced analytics while supporting the marketing and sales business functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize key marketing metrics.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
• Utilize generative AI and / or other advanced analytics techniques to enhance marketing initiatives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical analysis.
• Experience with data visualization tools, particularly Power BI.
• Basic understanding of AI and machine learning concepts is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Based Hourly Range : $20 / hr. - $25 / hr

Base hourly compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and / or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer.
