Job Description

ProSidian Seeks a Senior Project Manager Project Manager - Senior (Key Personnel) (LPO02) Key Personnel Project Manager - Exempt 541611 located : CONUS - Washington, DC Metro Area or Telework (Remote) As Authorized Across The Mid Atlantic Region to provide Energy Industry (Oil, And Gas / Power, And Utilities) Sector related Management And OperationsSolutions for Professional Management And Support Services on behalf of The United States Department of Energy DOE Loan Programs Office(DOE LPO).

This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Position and ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

Job Overview

Provide services and support as a Loan Programs Office (LPO) Administrative Support (Project Manager - Senior (Key Personnel)) in the Energy Industry (Oil, And Gas / Power, And Utilities) Industry Sector focussing on Management And Operations Solutions for clients such as United States Department of Energy (DOE LPO) DOE Loan Programs Office Located In CONUS - Washington, DC Metro Area or Telework (Remote) As Authorized and across the Mid Atlantic Region.

Responsibilities and Duties

Typically oversees all aspects of the project, leading a team on large projects or a significant segment of large and complex projects.

Analyze new and complex project-related problems and create innovative solutions that normally involve the schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and financial management of the project.

Provide applications systems analysis and long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, and production activities for necessary support resources.

This Key position is referred to as the Deputy LPO Program Manager in the Performance Work Statement. Skill Level for this position shall be provided at Senior or above*.

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications For Senior Energy Infrastructure Finance Project Manager (Key Personnel) ( LPO02 ) Key Personnel Project Manager - Exempt 541611 Candidates :

Project Manager - Senior (Key Personnel) :

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in project management or related roles, with a proven track record of successfully leading complex projects.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Advanced problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience managing project portfolios and strategic initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to mitigate risks and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is generally required.
  • Advanced degree such as a Master's in Business Administration (MBA), Finance, or Economics is often preferred or required, especially for senior roles.
  • Additional certifications or qualifications in project management, finance, or energy infrastructure finance may be beneficial.

For example, certifications like Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) could be advantageous.

  • Project Management : Proficiency in project management methodologies to oversee and manage energy infrastructure finance projects effectively.
  • Financial Analysis : Advanced financial analysis skills to evaluate project feasibility, assess risks, and develop financing structures.
  • Leadership : Strong leadership abilities to lead cross-functional teams and drive project success.
  • Stakeholder Management : Experience in managing relationships with stakeholders such as clients, investors, government agencies, and regulatory bodies.
  • Strategic Thinking : Ability to develop and execute strategic plans aligned with organizational objectives and market trends.
  • Communication : Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex financial concepts and project updates to stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving : Proficiency in identifying challenges, developing solutions, and making strategic decisions to keep projects on track.
  • Financial Modeling : Experience in building and analyzing financial models to assess project economics and financial viability.
  • Negotiation : Strong negotiation skills to secure financing agreements, contracts, and other project-related agreements.
  • Regulatory Knowledge : Understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements relevant to energy infrastructure finance projects.

Competencies Required

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (This employer participates in the e-Verify program)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)

Ancillary Details Of The Roles

Program Manager Telework Responsibilities - The Contractor Program Manager shall : 1) Oversee implementation of the Contractor telework program;

2) Account for and report the employee / contractor’s time spent during telework status. Monitor, assess and ensure compliance with all aspects of this Telework Task Areas Performance Requirements
