They process the initial payroll(s) with the client until it is determined that the payroll has been set up accurately and processing correctly.
Essential Functions Update and maintain employee and client information to ensure year-end processing of W-2’s is accurate.
This includes names changes, pay rates, addresses, departmental changes, new hires, re-hires and terminations. Build and maintain working relationships with clients through excellent customer service.
Make contact with new clients within 24 hours of receiving new contracts to gather all necessary information to onboard.
Work internally with all departments to onboard client and their employees timely. Process first payroll and produce all necessary reports as required by client.
Required Education and Experience A High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 3-5 years of payroll processing experience is required.
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, and to establish a good, cooperative relationship with clients.
Preferred Education and Experience A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred along with 5+ of payroll processing experience. Experience with Summit payroll software is preferred, other payroll software experience is a plus.
