Sr. Inventory Control Analyst (Hybrid) This will be a hybrid role on-site three days per week in Hoffman Estates, IL
About the Role
The Sr. Inventory Control Analyst manages complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors and frequently contribute to the development of new business strategy, ideas and methods.
Develop reporting templates that define, and capture shrink trends across geographies, store formats and merchandise categorie
Manage ongoing summary reporting from shrink scorecards, physical inventory results and cycle counts
Schedule and coordinate Physical Inventory / Cycle Counts for all B&M locations. Publish and communicate compliance and shrink results as they occur.
Manage requested reconciliations on any store inventory adjustments, as they occur. This includes Physical Inventory and Cycle counts
Prepare weekly / monthly reports, updates and results on major initiatives; these include the LP dashboard and monthly regional LP reports.
Maintain ongoing reporting and summaries for case management
Develop and manage ongoing reporting for inventory loss and damages
Participate and occasionally lead special projects
Provide store support for inventory related questions regarding carton receiving, transfers and damages.
Provide analytical support as required.
Be able to develop process changes within Inventory Controls within Business
Facilitate meeting with leadership and organizing presentations
Manage stakeholder relationships
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business-related field
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint, Power BI and experience with SQL
2-4 years’ experience conducting data analysis
Experience with financial modelling and accounting principles such as business case development, cost / benefit analysis, return on invested capital, NPV and forecasting
