We have an exciting opportunity for a Therapist (part time) to join our team of talented professionals. All services can be performed in person or via telehealth with a flexible schedule to suite your needs including Saturday hours if needed.
Payment is based on fee for service split with the ability to earn $50-80+ / hr.
As a Therapist in the Adult and Family Services Program, you will be responsible for the following :
- Provide quality therapy services to agency-referred clients.
- Complete required documentation, including, but not limited to :
a) intake assessments.
b) treatment plans.
c) progress notes.
d) treatment reviews.
e) discharge summaries.
f) insurance requirements.
g) billing requirements.
- Must complete 15 hours annual professional development training
- Participate in a minimum of monthly supervision meetings
- Participate in staff / team meetings.
- Follow The Guidance Center's professional code of ethics.
- Maintain Michigan state licensure at all times.
- Secure authorization for services within insurance time requirements.
Requirements
To qualify for this position, you will need the following :
- Must possess a graduate degree in Social Work, Psychology, Professional Counseling, or similar.
- Must possess a Michigan state licensure of LMSW, LP, LLP, LPC, or LLMSW.
- Must also have a clean background and approved central registry clearance.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Additional requirements include : demonstrated ability to provide therapeutic services to children, and / or teens, and / or families, and / or adults;
- demonstrated ability to complete quality intake assessments, treatment plans, treatment plan reviews, discharge summaries in a timely manner;
demonstrated ability to complete timely authorizations for treatment services.
