Description :
PSR I Represents the face of the company to patients. PSR, I Draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares specimens for lab testing.
Maintains direct contact with patients, fostering an atmosphere of trust and confidence. Demonstrates Leadership Behaviours, focusing on process excellence and sensitivity to confidentiality.
Responsibilities :
- Performs daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
- Maintains a safe and professional environment.
- Conducts forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing following established procedures.
- Maintains required records and documentation.
- Promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
Job Requirements :
- Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
- Flexibility in scheduling based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
Required Education :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical training preferred, such as medical assistant or paramedic training.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
Work Experience :
- Minimum of 6 months of experience.
- One or more years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
- Keyboard / data entry experience required.
