Responsibilities & Expectations :

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers, providing pre-sales and post-sales support including product selection, recommend solutions, proposals based on customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Conduct on-site and remote product demonstrations and training sessions.
• Assist in the design, integration, and deployment of company products into customer applications.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and on-site visits.
• Attend trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings to promote the company's products.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to solve complex issues and implement product improvements, enhancements, or modifications.
• Prepare and deliver technical documentation, including user guides, application notes, and technical white papers.
• Travel to customer sites for in-person support, system integration, troubleshooting, and technical discussions.

Qualifications and Competencies :

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent in experience in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a technical role, preferably in field applications, technical support, or a related discipline.
• In-depth understanding of generator systems, paralleling switchgear, control systems, and specifically Kohler products and features.
• Proficiency in system integration, troubleshooting, debugging, and relevant hardware and software tools.
• Ability to read and understand technical schematics, product specifications, and application requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
