Position Summary :

We're seeking a strategic and dynamic Director of Sales to lead and further expand our client's proprietary product line.

This remote role will be crucial in driving sales and marketing strategies, expanding the business, and strengthening the company's position within this market.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in scaling sales organizations and exploring new market opportunities across various segments, including decking, siding, flooring, and specialty applications.

Key Responsibilities :

Business Development : Craft and implement growth strategies to achieve profitability targets. Identify new market opportunities and forge strategic partnerships.

Sales Organization Development : Lead and expand a high-performing sales team. Foster a culture of success through mentorship and team building.

Market Strategy & Expansion : Develop and execute marketing strategies. Engage in key industry events and maintain a keen understanding of market trends.

Leadership & Mentorship : Provide leadership and professional development to the sales team, ensuring a collaborative and motivated environment.

Travel & Remote Work : Primarily remote with occasional travel for key accounts and industry events. Engage with clients to strengthen relationships and drive growth.

Qualifications : Experience :

Experience :

  • 10+ years in lumber product sales / distribution.
  • Proven success in a start-up or entrepreneurial setting.
  • Ability to develop tools and processes in emerging environments.
  • Strong background in market segmentation and sales strategy.
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales growth remotely.
  • Experience leading and mentoring high-performing sales teams.
  • Stable career history with strong references.

Skills :

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in developing compelling sales tools and leveraging market insights.

Education :

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
