Job Description
The Supervisor will supervise members of the Outpatient Therapy department within the context of an evidence based, solution-focused brief therapy model.
This role will require half of the time to be spent dedicated to direct clinical care (individual, group, family therapy, supporting intakes as needed), with the other half of your time responsible for supervising our part-time Certified Peer Specialists team members.
You will report directly to the Manager of our Outpatient Therapy Program.
The ideal hire for this position must have licensure as well as previous behavioral health and supervisory experience. Should be interested in supporting early career professionals.
This position is based at our main office, 1330 West 26th Street, Erie, PA. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday daylight hours with the potential for flexibility.
Parking is provided on site at no cost to employees. The dress code is business casual.
Responsibilities :
- Supervisory Duties : Directing daily work of therapists, performing annual reviews, enforcing policies, and providing clinical and administrative supervision.
- Leadership : Occasionally assuming leadership in the absence of the Director to ensure continuity of care and safety.
- Clinical Duties : Conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, providing individual and group therapy, and ensuring clinical documentation is completed promptly.
Collaboration and Training : Working with leadership on training needs assessments, providing staff training, and participating in system-wide education initiatives.
Administrative Duties : Maintaining records of clinical productivity, participating in quality assurance activities, and providing operational support, including recruitment and coordination of new admissions.
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or related field required .
- Five years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions required .
- Two years of demonstrated progressive leadership experience required .
- Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process, as well as application of current version of the DSM required.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances :
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) or Doctorate in Psychology required .

- Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
- Act 33 with renewal
- Act 34 with renewal
- Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
