SUMMARY OF POSITION :
The Program Coordinator is responsible for daily oversight of the program's operations. The Program Coordinator is the main contact with the funding agency and reports to the Associate Director.
The Primary responsibilities of the Program Coordinator include expanding community partnerships for outreach, enhancement of prevention, and education messaging related to the specific grant needs.
The position is full-time, contingent upon grant funding. Working hours are flexible, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the target population.

Requirements :
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Takes a key role in implementing the program, including developing protocols and procedures.
- Provides leadership for all project activities, including day-to-day operations of the program.
- Provides oversight of program-specific worksites
- Assists in creating and monitoring internal reporting and evaluation methods to ensure that goals and objectives are met.
- Reports progress and require reporting for funders and PRCC senior management, ensuring programmatic goals and objectives fidelity.
- Establishes program partnerships to disseminate services.
- Creates processes to identify and recruit participants and volunteers.
- Promote our services and outreach.
- Conducting HIV risk reduction group interventions
- Conduct Windshield Surveys
- Flexibility to cross-training, HIV testing, outreach, case management, marketing & social media, vouchering, referrals, scopes, linkage to care.
- Assist other Program Coordinators when needed.
- Learn to use Canva Platform
- Attends the PRCC and program-specific and organizational activities and meetings, including, but not limited to, the monthly organization-wide General Assembly
- Participates in organizational annual events including, but not limited to the Puerto Rican People’s Parade, Fiesta Boricua, Three Kings Day, and Haunted Paseo Boricua
- Performs other functions assigned.
This position requires compliance with The PRCC’s written standards, including its Standards of Conduct, all policies and procedures, and Regulatory Compliance requirements.
Compliance will be an essential part of the regular performance evaluation.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Experience working with the target population.
- Experience in Program Coordination
- Knowledge about HIV is needed.
- Knowledge of Event Management is preferred.
- Experience working with the LGBTQ+ community.
- Flexibility in hours worked.
- Experience working with teenagers from 12-18 years old.
SKILLS :
- Bilingual - English / Spanish preferred
- Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Works independently with a keen sense of focus, task-oriented, non-judgmental, open personal qualities, and clear sense of boundaries LICENSURE :

EDUCATION :
Bachelor’s degree : master’s degree preferred.
