This role is part of the Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance team. This team is focused on monitoring and assessing processes that guide Blue Origin's design, manufacturing, and operations, ensuring system safety engineering, environmental health, and safety, product integrity, and continuous improvement processes.
As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, you will establish, implement, maintain, and enforce quality system processes that support products in a production environment.
As needed, measure, analyze, and improve quality system performance consistent with organization quality goals, integrate quality system applications between engineering, manufacturing, and operations to ensure the consistent and ongoing use of quality standard processes and communication of quality issues, and facilitate troubleshooting of quality issues with diverse teams, lead causal analysis activities to drive to root cause and corrective action.
You will perform periodic audits of the application of our quality system in accordance with AS9100, recommend initiatives and / or changes that will improve product and system quality, and provide quality assurance subject matter expertise to material control and disposition activities.
Periodically, you will collaborate with internal and external customers on quality related concerns and develop training materials to build quality awareness.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 10 years Quality Related Experience
- Great communication skills
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.
S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Preferred Qualifications
- RC / CA knowledge
- Experience controlling a Material Review Cage (dedicated storage area for nonconforming hardware)
- Control of Nonconforming Hardware, high degree of understanding
- Stock checks, high degree of understanding
- Out of tolerance investigations, high degree of understanding
- Experience with fleet wide issues (nonconformance initiation)
- Quality assurance experience in rocket engines or rocket production environment
- Quality Management System audit experience
- Six Sigma Green, Black Belt, or comparable certification
- Material Review Board experience
